As an Intern in Sustainability Innovation, you will contribute to advancing Ypsomed's sustainability ambitions by supporting initiatives that drive circularity, ecodesign, and sustainability intelligence. In this one-year internship, you will gather and analyze insights, assist in the implementation of our Ecodesign Guideline, and help translate innovation and environmental insights into actionable strategies. Your main tasks
* Support the development and ongoing maintenance of Sustainability Intelligence activities, including customer, pharma supply chain players and competitor profiling, trend monitoring, and ecosystem scanning with a clear sustainability focus
* Develop and pilot a structure for monitoring regulatory developments related to sustainability (e.g. materials, packaging, supply chain, circular economy)
* Support the further development and rollout of Ypsomed's Ecodesign Guideline, including assisting project teams in applying ecodesign principles to new and ongoing developments
* Contribute to ongoing circularity initiatives, including research, preparation of materials, and support for internal / external stakeholder exchanges (non-operational, project-focused)
* Provide ad-hoc support across Sustainability Innovation projects
Your profile
* Academic background in Sustainability, Innovation, Business, or related fields
* First experience or strong interest in the healthcare, medtech, or pharmaceutical industry
* Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to work in a structured, detail-oriented manner
* Interest or familiarity with sustainability-related regulatory topics is an advantage
* Proactive, self-driven, and able to explore new topic areas independently
* Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across functions and integrating diverse perspectives
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; German is a plus
