Our client is a globally operating Swiss leader in medical technology and consumer health solutions with modern offices in Kanton Zug, and we are seeking a Senior Demand Planner (m/f/d) for a permanent role to take full ownership of the forecasting process, serve as a key cross‑functional partner, and support the company's ongoing integration initiatives.
Job Description
The Senior Demand Planner (m/f/d) oversees the end‑to‑end forecasting process, drives the transition to a Supply‑Chain‑owned forecast, streamlines planning complexity, and supports cross‑functional integration efforts by carrying out the following task areas:
* Owns and manages the end‑to‑end demand forecasting process for an international portfolio, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and data‑driven decision‑making
* Leads the shift of forecast ownership, while supporting an evolving IT and process landscape
* Drives continuous improvement of the SAP IBP Demand Planning setup and ensures high system and data quality
* Analyses key demand drivers, identifies trends, and implements improvement actions to enhance forecast performance
* Reduces planning complexity through proactive measures such as SKU structure optimization and lifecycle simplification
* Collaborates closely with global stakeholders across Sales, Supply Planning, Marketing, Finance, and IT to align on demand and business priorities
* Contributes to cross‑functional transformation and integration initiatives, providing project management support where relevant
The Successful Applicant
For this challenging and rewarding position, the ideal candidate should have:
* Successfully completed bachelor's or master's degree in economics, supply chain, operations, management, or a related business or quantitative field
* Certificate in APICS is a strong advantage
* At least 4-6 years of experience in relevant supply chain functions (forecasting, demand planning)
* Previous experience in a fast‑moving and dynamic FMCG environment
* Proven expertise in forecasting tools (SAP IBP)
* Project management experience is a strong plus
* Demonstrated stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills
* Business fluency in German and English
* International exposure and strong intercultural communication skills
* Ownership mindset, analytical strength, and enthusiasm for process improvement and transformation
