Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to take on the role of Global Head of Product Management for our Industry Business Unit. In this high-impact position, you will lead a globally distributed team and play a central role in shaping the product strategy, portfolio development, and innovation pipeline across key regions. You will drive strategic initiatives, manage cross-functional collaboration, and ensure the successful lifecycle of our industry-leading product portfolio.
Lead Global Team: Manage and develop a high-performing Product Management team across CH, CN, ES, US, and UK.
Drive Strategy: Define and execute global product portfolio strategies aligned with BU objectives and market trends.
Innovation Pipeline: Accountable for new product development and lifecycle projects from idea to market launch.
Market & Competitor Insights: Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to guide strategic direction.
Standardize Processes: Implement and harmonize product management processes across global sites.
Product Planning: Translate market data and customer feedback into new product opportunities and business cases.
Portfolio Performance: Track product KPIs (growth, revenue, profitability) and optimize portfolio through enhancements or phase-outs.
Pricing & Positioning: Develop value-based pricing and ensure consistent product positioning across regions and channels.
Sustainability: Integrate ESG and sustainability trends into product development and strategy.
Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the BU in industry associations and lead strategic projects as assigned.
Qualifications Education
Master’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Economics, or Chemical/Mechanical Engineering
Fluent in English and German, additional languages are a plus
Experience
8+ years in Product Management, Channel Management, Sales, or Marketing (B2B/B2C)
Solid expertise in strategic planning, business planning, and project management
Strong leadership and team management background
Focus on upstream product management: ideation, feasibility, and user needs
Proven background in Adhesives & Sealants industry, ideally 2-component systems
Skills
Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Excellent communicator—able to influence across functions and levels
Strong intercultural skills
High-level presentation skills
Data-driven mindset with strong market and financial analysis capabilities
Advanced proficiency in MS Office, SAP
Strong CRM knowledge—Salesforce preferred
