Ph3Your role /h3 pThe BSRRC Specialist supports UBS Conflict and Business Selection processes by reviewing and analysing new business opportunities, performing conflict checks, and ensuring regulatory and ethical compliance. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liTake an active, leadership role in the conflict clearance and business selection process. /li liLiaise with the Global Banking business to gather relevant details and perform conflict checks. /li liIdentify and resolve complex issues arising during the conflict check process while managing team expectations around outcome and turnaround time. /li liLead strategic projects such as enhanced automation, streamlining of processes, and banker training. /li liWork closely with Compliance and Operational Risk Control on audit and regulatory issues and responses when required. /li liGenerate new ideas and creative approaches that help push the business forward. /li liMake sound and balanced judgments within professional, ethical, regulatory and legal standards. /li liMotivate and inspire others by providing a vision of shared goals. /li liTrain, mentor, and develop junior members of the team. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liLaw degree or equivalent. /li liExperience with conflicts in an investment bank or comparable financial institution (desirable). /li liFluency in English with excellent oral and written communication skills. /li liStrong analytical skills for complex situations under compressed timelines. /li liProven ability to manage multiple projects to timely completion. /li liStrong organisational skills and high attention to detail. /li liProactive work ethic. /li liExcellent working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and online research tools. /li liComfortable operating in a fast‑paced environment with a high sense of urgency. /li liAbility to work closely with others as part of a small team and interact directly with a wide group of professionals across the firm. /li liFlexible regarding work hours if needed to support the business. /li /ul h3Job Details /h3 pJob type: Full Time /p pJob reference: BR /p pCity: Zürich /p h3Team /h3 pThe BSRRC team reviews all new proposed business to identify, assess and manage conflicts of interest, ensuring client confidentiality and compliance.
