Business Development Executive for Eastern Europe

This is a remote role that can be based anywhere in Switzerland, the UK or Germany.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Business Development Executive to join our team in either Zurich, Munich or London. The primary focus will be on expanding our existing book of business in the Czech Republic, Romania & the wider CEE region. You will report to our Director of Sales and work closely with key decision makers to enhance established commercial relationships and close new business opportunities within a small portfolio of existing clients.

The impact you will have:

* Develop a strategy to meet and exceed revenue and consumption goals for key accounts
* Implement the above strategy to meet and exceed revenue and consumption targets
* Build strong relationships with key decision makers (up to and including C-level) and establish yourself as a trusted advisor for Data & AI-related subjects
* Identify new business opportunities and develop expand / consumption use cases within key accounts
* Orchestrate and utilize internal teams to maximize the impact on your ecosystem
* Showcase exceptional value with all engagements to guide successful negotiations and close deals

What we look for:

* A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas and KPIs
* Experience selling to local, large enterprise-class customers in the Czech Republic and/or Romania & the wider CEE region
* Proven experience selling complex software deals
* Understanding of consumption-based land and expand sales models
* Evidence of creating demand that delivered substantial business value
* Experience following robust sales methodologies and processes, e.g. account planning, MEDDPICC, Value Selling, Command of the Message and accurate forecasting
* Experience building effective champions and collaborative teams to support execution of your territory plan
* Experience developing a clear partner strategy and managing it to success
* Understanding of how to identify important use cases and buying centers to increase the impact of Databricks within an organization
* Fluent English and Czech or Romanian language skills are essential

About the Role

In this role, you will work closely with key decision makers to enhance established commercial relationships and close new business opportunities within a small portfolio of existing clients. You will be responsible for developing a strategy to meet and exceed revenue and consumption goals for key accounts, implementing the above strategy to meet and exceed revenue and consumption targets, and building strong relationships with key decision makers (up to and including C-level).
