We are currently partnering with a fast‑growing and highly innovative medical technology company based in Switzerland. The organisation operates in a regulated MedTech environment and develops advanced implant‑related products that are commercialised internationally. They are looking for a Senior Engineer to take ownership of product development projects.
You will be responsible for: Leading technical development projects from concept through industrialisation, including scope, timelines, resources, risks, and deliverables.
Acting as a central technical interface across cross‑functional teams such as R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and external partners.
Driving hands‑on product and component development activities, including conceptual design, prototyping, testing strategies, and technical assessments.
Owning Design Control activities across the full product lifecycle in compliance with applicable quality and regulatory standards.
Coordinating internal and external testing and validation activities to support product development.
Supporting root cause analyses and continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with Quality functions.
Contributing to risk management and regulatory documentation in a regulated product development environment.
Applying CAD skills alongside a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and tolerance management.
An ideal candidate should have the following qualifications: A technical degree in engineering, materials science, medical technology, or a related discipline.
Several years of experience in product development within a regulated industry (MedTech experience preferred, implants a bonus).
Proven experience leading technical projects and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Strong understanding of Design Control, verification/validation, and technical documentation.
Hands‑on, structured, and solution‑oriented working style with a strong quality mindset.
Strong communication skills in English and German (written and spoken)
