Laboratory Technician in Chemistry - Food Analysis, Work Management, and Safety at Work Your areas of activity with us: Conduct chemical analyses by wet and instrumental methods related to food products for research projects, teaching, and, if necessary, service support. Contribute to teaching and oversee exercises, assisting students and their projects. Collaborate in the management of laboratories, particularly supporting their basic operation and participate in the development of infrastructure and processes related to the acquisition and management of chemicals (chemical management, inventory systems) as well as ensuring the proper functioning of analytical instruments. Participate in the fields of occupational safety and health protection, including guidelines and coordination, with the possibility of assuming the role of safety officer (PàSD). Your background: Training as a laboratory technician in chemistry or a similar field, ideally with several years of professional experience. Work experience in routine analyses or research, ideally in the food sector. Knowledge in instrumental and wet analytical chemistry (e.g., HPLC, nitrogen analysis by LECO, or spectrophotometry). Independent, structured, and quality-oriented working methods, as well as the ability to thrive in a scientific environment. Team spirit, good communication skills, and an interest in working with students. Very good level of French or German and a good level of English.
