Overview
Multi-family office whose direct real estate activities are becoming increasingly significant and focused on value-add strategies. The client seeks a talented real estate professional to support this dynamic by coordinating all development phases of the project, selecting key contractors through rigorous tender processes and contract negotiations, and acting as the owner representative. The role involves developing and managing a comprehensive development / value-add budget, monitoring spending, preparing application files, liaising with local authorities to obtain building permits and required authorizations, and providing regular updates and reports on progress. The position includes identifying key risks and proposing mitigating actions, ensuring quality of construction and enhancement works meets established standards, deadlines, and client expectations, and overseeing technical due diligence on new acquisitions and development / value-add projects. Responsibilities
* Coordinate all development phases of the project and act as owner representative.
* Ensure selection of key contractors through rigorous tender processes and contract negotiations.
* Develop and manage a comprehensive development / value-add budget and monitor expenditures.
* Prepare application files and liaise with local authorities to obtain required building permits and other authorizations.
* Provide regular updates and reports on progress of development / value-add works.
* Identify key risks and propose mitigating actions.
* Ensure the quality of construction and enhancement works meets established standards, deadlines, and client expectations.
* Oversee technical due diligence on new acquisitions and development / value-add projects.
Qualifications
* University degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
* 7+ years of experience in real estate development and project management in Switzerland.
* Technical knowledge of construction processes and building systems, town planning.
* Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Willingness and flexibility for day trips within Switzerland.
* Analytical profile, critical mind, ability to synthesize information.
* French and Swiss-German required; English would be a significant plus.
