We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with additional experience in PostgreSQL or MongoDB to manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise database systems. The ideal candidate will ensure database performance, availability, security, and reliability across multiple environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, configure, and maintain Oracle Database environments.
* Manage database performance tuning, monitoring, and optimization.
* Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
* Support and maintain PostgreSQL or MongoDB databases.
* Implement database security, access control, and compliance policies.
* Troubleshoot database issues and provide root cause analysis.
* Work closely with development and infrastructure teams for database deployments.
* Manage database migrations, upgrades, and patching.
Required Skills
* Strong experience with Oracle Database Administration.
* Experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB database management.
* Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and database performance tuning.
* Experience with backup/recovery tools and high availability setups.
* Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
* Understanding of database security and data protection.
Preferred Skills
* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
* Knowledge of automation or scripting (Shell, Python).
* Experience with database replication and clustering.
