Intern in Pharmaceutical Development (DPS)
Internship Pharmaceutical Development (6 Month Fixed Term Contract).
For our successful Drug Product (DP) focused branch located in Basel and Stein, Switzerland, we have exciting opportunities. What you will do:
* Assist in the preparation and testing of drug product samples (e.g. liquid and lyophilized products).
* Support lab operations including reagent preparation, equipment calibration, inventory tracking, and sample management.
* Document all work accurately in lab notebooks and electronic data systems in compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
* Participate in laboratory housekeeping and safety activities (chemical hygiene, 6S practices).
* Work closely with formulation scientists, analytical chemists, and process engineers to collect and analyze experimental data.
What we are looking for:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (in progress or recently completed) in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related life sciences.
* Basic laboratory skills and familiarity with wet lab techniques would be strongly desired.
* Exposure to analytical instruments (e.g., HPLC, UV, balance, centrifuge) would be advantageous.
* Good understanding of lab safety and data integrity.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Team-oriented mindset with attention to detail and organization.
