Overview
About Us: This role will start off as a contract role with a high potential to move into a permanent leadership position given there is a fit and goals/metrics are achieved. We’re looking for a fluent English-speaking B2B marketing expert with a strong track record of building company pipelines and hitting aggressive targets in a rapid, high-growth startup environment. This is a core leadership position where you’ll shape the trajectory and success of Walt Digital. You’ll be our content strategist with excellent writing skills to persuade our customers to change their growth approach using digital marketing. You’ll focus on deeply understanding buyers’ needs and create messaging that is clear, edgy, and inspiring.
You’re creative and curious, data-driven, and results-driven. You continually learn and improve through rigorous experimentation and measurement, digging into data to understand trends, generate hypotheses, and scale successful findings. You have experience in driving customer acquisition, engagement, and brand awareness through top-of-funnel organic programs, plus extensive knowledge of SEO, analytics, and content management tools. You excel with WordPress, LinkedIn, Google Analytics, and related CMS tools. You stay current with social media and content marketing practices and can craft compelling stories and messaging that resonate with target buyers.
You will be responsible for developing buyer personas, clarifying the business problem we solve, and creating killer product positioning and pitch messaging that demonstrates Walt Digital’s value to clients. You will drive Walt Digital’s web content, LinkedIn, and SEO strategy while rapidly scaling organic search traffic and conversions. You will develop the company’s social media strategy to support brand and growth efforts across owned channels and relevant communities. You will also identify decision-makers and manage tracking of prospects, appointments, and leads within our CRM.
What You Won’t Be Doing: Cold calling; mass-producing generic messaging; working in isolation. This role requires collaboration with the Head of Digital Strategy & Relationships, target buyers, and internal teams to develop core messaging.
Responsibilities
* Develop buyer personas and understand how our service is used to clarify the business problem we solve.
* Create killer product positioning and pitch messaging that describes how Walt Digital generates value for clients.
* Drive Walt Digital’s web content, LinkedIn presence, and SEO strategy with a focus on rapidly scaling organic search traffic and conversions.
* Develop and execute Walt Digital’s social media strategy across owned channels and relevant communities.
* Identify decision-makers and build a master contact list; track prospects and follow up on leads through the CRM; initiate calls to set pre-qualified appointments.
Key Requirements
* 5+ years of marketing experience with B2B focus; 3+ years in demand generation, growth/acquisition marketing or similar field; 2+ years leading marketing teams.
* Fluent in English (written & verbal).
* Strong internet connection and fast computer; demonstrated ownership, project management capabilities, and operational rigor.
* Experience with WordPress, LinkedIn, Google Analytics, and content management tools.
* Ability to craft clear, impactful stories and present information logically.
* Experimentation and data-driven decision-making are core to your approach.
