Job Description
Our Private Markets ESG team is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Senior ESG Specialist to join us in Pfäffikon (SZ), near Zürich.
The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of ESG integration across our private markets business, liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders.
1. Lead and execute ESG integration activities within private equity and private markets.
2. Drive continuous improvement and execution of ESG assessments of private equity investment managers and private markets investments.
3. Manage and develop ESG data collection efforts in collaboration with our in-house Company Database and Reporting teams.
4. Engage with portfolio investments and institutional clients on ESG matters and developments.
5. Ensure compliance with sustainability regulations by working with Legal and Risk Management teams.
6. Contribute to firm-wide reports such as ESG report, TCFD report, and CSRD report from a private markets perspective.
Requirements
1. Degree from a reputable university, preferably in a sustainability-related field (e.g., sustainable engineering or finance).
2. 7-10 years of relevant experience in ESG/Sustainability.
3. 7-10 years of proven experience in the Private Equity or Alternative Investments industry.
4. Proficient in written and verbal English; additional languages are beneficial.
5. Software and programming skills are a plus.
6. Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a multicultural environment.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
8. Ability to interact professionally with colleagues, clients, and industry professionals.
