join our team, someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people. This
role is crucial in providing academic and emotional support to our students, while also ensuring their
safety and wellbeing*.*
Key Accountabilities
Working in close partnership with the class teacher to establish an appropriate child-centered learning
environment for the children
Delivering high-quality support to enhance student learning experiences.
Assist in the delivery of educational programs and activities.
Provide one-on-one support to students requiring additional help.
Monitor and support student behaviour, promoting positive choices.
Facilitate inclusive learning opportunities for all students.
Supervising the children at break/lunch time and other unstructured times
Under the direction of the class teacher, helping to ensure that the classroom environment is well-
managed, properly ordered and neatly presented
Under the direction of the class teacher, working with individuals and groups of children
Safeguarding Responsibilities
To comply with safeguarding policies, procedures, and code of conduct
To engage in safeguarding training when required
Ensure that the children are always safe and secure
Act as a safe point of contact for students who may need to discuss issues of safety or wellbeing.
Qualifications & Experience
A minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in education or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is highly desirable.
Knowledge of current safeguarding and child protection legislation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient, caring, and supportive approach to student learning and development.
