Assistant to the Hatchery Manager What you will accomplish: During the absence of the Hatchery Manager, you will lead the direct subordinates in production according to the guidelines. You will establish in SAP the management and ensure all related SAP tasks (traceability, hatching data, etc.). You will identify malfunctions and intervene quickly on first-level repairs while collaborating closely with the technical team. You will plan and organize production activities (work schedules), prepare chick deliveries, and create delivery notes in SAP. You will participate in live production shopfloor activities and in process manager meetings during the absence of the hatchery manager. You will support and promote Lean measures and methods. You will be available for on-call service in case of alarm during working hours. What you bring: Education: initial or continuing education completed with a higher qualification in the poultry sector. Professional experience: 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. You have a perfect command of the process (single loading, technology, and operation of hatching cells and chick storage). You possess solid knowledge of quality, hygiene, and health standards in hatcheries and good knowledge of chick physiology. You have experience in team management and know how to motivate your team. You are proficient in common tools and the SAP software.
