The Pricing Analyst, reporting to the Pricing Manager, will perform daily pricing activities and provide pricing recommendations to ensure global pricing consistency and profitability according to our goals.
You will:
Establish constructive and proactive partnership with all important partners in the pricing process
Responsible for Price Setting and Maintenance
* Perform ongoing pricing activities such as computing standard pricing of flavour products, maintaining price lists, providing target costs and price monitoring processes.
* Provide pricing recommendations for briefs to Sales groups with supporting analysis, coordinate pricing process for identified key accounts and provide price negotiations support.
* Manage DOA process
Monitor, protect and improve Gross Margin
* Define action recommendations to avoid gross margin erosion.
* Analyze gross margin and identify product cost issues and address these with Procurement, Operations, Finance & Technical groups.
* Manage annual price increases and adjustments for raw material impact, manufacturing cost changes or margin improvement on existing products
Support Customer service excellence on pricing/order issues Guarantee Compliance with the Pricing Guidelines
* Support definition, documentation, implementation and maintenance of pricing related guidelines and principles
* Ensure Data maintenance and quality in all Pricing processes.
* Participate in local/small Pricing projects and process improvement initiatives
Your professional profile requires:
* University Degree in Business, Finance or other relevant areas.
* At least 2 years in industry pricing or finance, account management or sales coordination role.
* Preferably some Experience in Manufacturing – Flavour, Fragrance, Chemical or Pharma .
* Intermediate Level of English.
* Experience dealing with complex IT systems
* Proficient in Excel (can perform complex functions) and Google Workspace (esp. Google Sheets)
* Understanding of pricing processes
* Previous SAP experience
