As a Senior Data Requirements Engineer, you will drive clarity and consistency in how data flows across our critical systems, ensuring robust, secure, and compliant solutions that support our strategic modernisation.
You will lead the identification, analysis, and documentation of data requirements for diverse technology initiatives, from core banking platforms to advanced analytics solutions. Working closely with architects, developers, and business stakeholders, you translate business needs into technically sound, traceable specifications.
This includes defining data formats (JSON, XML, CSV), integration patterns (REST, SOAP, SFTP, AWA Automic), and event‑driven architectures, all underpinned by strong data security and adherence to regulatory standards.
You are customer focused, resilient under pressure, and committed to quality delivery in a dynamic environment. With your deep understanding of financial data processes, including reporting, transactions, and messaging, you will help us build scalable, future‑ready infrastructure.
YOUR CHALLENGE
* Eliciting and refining data requirements via workshops, interviews, and technical reviews with key partners across IT and business units.
* Documenting end‑to‑end data flows, transformation logic, and interface specifications capturing both as‑is and to‑be states with precision.
* Ensuring full traceability from business need to implementation using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Enterprise Architect.
* Supporting data governance by maintaining accurate metadata, data models, and lineage records across systems built on Java, .NET, VBA, or HCL technologies.

YOUR PROFILE
* University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in data or systems analysis within financial services.
* Proven expertise in data integration, API design (especially RESTful), and platforms such as Informatica DMC or Dataiku.
* Solid knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL), data governance frameworks, and secure coding principles.
* Fluency in English (required); German is advantageous.
* Strong analytical mind, excellent documentation skills, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
