Safety Coordinator vacancy for our Basel-based client in the agricultural sector.
Your tasks:
1. Ensuring safety for maintenance and work related to investment projects.
2. HSE responsibility within the projects.
3. Responsibility for the implementation and coordination of smaller projects.
4. Responsible safety officer including safety tours.
5. Responsible for the work permit process.
6. Issuance of work permits for maintenance and investment projects.
7. Assistance in defining HSE requirements within the projects.
8. Participation in kick-off meetings as HSE manager.
9. Preparation of project-specific HSE documentation (safety stop, construction site safety concept, risk analyses, work permits, etc.).
10. Coordination, control, and documentation of smaller projects.
11. Continuous improvement of the work permit process.
12. Attendance at Management of Change meetings.
Your experience/knowledge:
1. At least 3 to 5 years of experience on construction sites and construction projects.
2. Experience in handling maintenance or investment projects.
3. Professional knowledge in the field of HSE.
4. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations on occupational safety.
5. Further training as a safety officer, ASGS specialist, or safety engineer is an advantage.
6. Experience in chemistry and research is an advantage.
7. High level of personal responsibility and strong intercultural communication skills.
8. Organizational strength, ability to prioritize tasks, coordinate schedules, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken.
