The Distribution Tech team's mission is to empower global brands and platforms to unlock unforgettable travel experiences for their customers by making it easy to integrate GetYourGuide's world-class activities into their own ecosystems. Your mission
* Design and develop scalable systems that are easily integrated by other companies and used by millions of customers
* Mentor and teach other team members, contribute to team culture, and raise the performance bar
* Work in a cross-functional mission team with engineers, product managers, designers, and data specialists
* Continuously improve our codebase, systems, and processes
* Find opportunities to help the team meet and exceed cluster goals
Your toolkit
* 5+ years of software development experience
* A strong background in designing and implementing scalable service-oriented architectures and a good understanding of design patterns
* Proficiency in Java/Spring and the ability to build features from scratch
* Experience in defining and tracking data to facilitate customer-centric decision-making
* A positive, pro-active, team-oriented mindset, and a passion for mentoring and sharing knowledge
* A passion for delivering clean code and continuously learning about new tools, languages, and practices
* Be excited experiment with and leverage AI
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
