For our client, a luxury hotel located in Zurich, we are currently seeking an experienced
Assistant Director of F&B Operations
Tasks
* Ensure smooth operations across F&B outlets (Restaurant Saltz, Canvas Bar & Lounge, Room Service), including hands on support and occasional deputizing for department heads
* Lead and inspire teams by example, with a focus on continuous development through training initiatives
* Develop and implement innovative F&B offerings to boost revenue
* Continuously optimize service processes to increase both guest and employee satisfaction
* Ensure compliance with legal requirements and monitor scheduling and deployment plans
* Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost management in close collaboration with relevant departments
Requirements
* Completed education or degree in hospitality or F&B management
* Several years of leadership experience, ideally in an international setting and with similar operational scope
* Hands on mentality with a strong service and guest orientation
* Excellence in quality management and solution-driven approach
* Analytical mindset and solid understanding of business economics
* Strong communication skills with confident and professional demeanor
* Creativity and innovative spirit combined with a results-oriented attitude
* EU/EFTA-passport or a valid work permit (C or B) for Switzerland
