Fortray Global is is hiring a Dispatch Task Network Engineer (L1) in Switzerland. Candidates must have B2-level English language proficiency, with valid work authorization or a visa valid for at least two years. This is a B2B contract with a local Swiss company.
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our organization's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, security, and performance of our networks, supporting both on-premise and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, configure, and deploy network solutions including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
* Monitor and maintain network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations.
* Manage network security, firewalls, and access controls.
* Collaborate with IT teams to support network-related projects and upgrades.
* Maintain documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and procedures.
* Provide technical support for network-related incidents and escalations.
* Stay updated on the latest networking technologies, trends, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc.).
* Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
* Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
* Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
* Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, JNCIP, CompTIA Network+) are preferred.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
