General InformationEmployer: MCP (Switzerland) GmbHJob Title: TraderOffice Location: Baar (Switzerland, Canton of Zug)Primary Responsibilities Serve as a Dividend Trader, initiating investment coverage on European Large Caps across all sectors based on a deep understanding of single stock dividend futures as well as single stock catalysts (i.e., event-driven, special situations, etc.).Maintain trade coverage on European Large Caps corporate actions and market events, keeping valuation models updated with new data and news flow.Identify investment opportunities and generate alpha based on the implementation of long/short equity and income fund strategies with a focus on dividend futures using equity and equity derivatives products.Manage trade execution risk for the portfolio management team.Develop dashboards together with internal Quants and Developers to help the Senior Portfolio Manager (SPM) monitor market activities and trade flow in the coverage as well as the opportunity set available.Work closely with other portfolio management team members monitoring other sectors in order to develop strong cross-sector expertise and foster collaborative trade idea generation across markets and sectors.Job RequirementsMaster’s degree with strong academic track record in Finance, or a related discipline is required.10 years of experience contributing and building sector-specific investment processes to optimize sector coverage across European large caps.Experience on the buy-side implementing single stock dividend futures strategies wherein the candidate developed a strong process of building robust investment cases.Proven track record in supporting SPMs and team members in their investment process.Experience building fundamental relative value portfolios helping to screen dividend futures contracts and stocks, identify the best opportunities, correctly size the investment and ultimately build the portfolio and monitor associated risks.Proven record in building strong relationships with key market participants, including institutional investors, analysts, research teams, industry experts as well as corporates.Good understanding of derivatives products (futures, options, etc.) and valuation factors that impact the pricing of these instruments.Experience analysing European-Chinese trade relations is a plus. jid6aec3c6a jit1249a jiy25a
