We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead cross‑functional teams in developing and launching innovative products. This role manages complex projects through all lifecycle phases – from ideation to commercialization – ensuring alignment with business goals, customer needs, and organizational strategy.
Responsibilities
Project Initiation & Planning
Define project scope, objectives, and SMART requirements in collaboration with Product Management
Align project goals with broader product launch strategy
Develop comprehensive project plans including resource allocation, budget forecasting, and stakeholder engagement
Facilitate project kickoff with all relevant stakeholders
Project Execution & Leadership
Lead multidisciplinary project teams (e.g., R&D, Product Management, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Procurement, Production)
Manage project progress according to internal and external standards
Provide regular direction and maintain focus on targets, timelines, and budgets
Drive proactive risk management and timely reporting
Stakeholder Communication
Act as liaison between technical and business units to ensure alignment and shared objectives
Communicate clearly and consistently with R&D leadership, senior management, and key stakeholders
Facilitate and follow up on essential workshops (e.g., planning, root cause analysis, design reviews, and escalations)
Project Monitoring & Control
Track and manage project KPIs: timelines, quality, costs, resources, and risks
Coordinate with finance, controlling, and resource planning teams
Ensure change‑management procedures are followed effectively
Maintain accurate and auditable project documentation to ensure full transparency
Technical Oversight
Provide oversight for product development and problem‑solving activities
Ensure verification and validation processes are completed in line with requirements
Support smooth transfer to manufacturing and external suppliers
Qualifications
PMI‑certified Project Manager (or equivalent certification)
Proven experience managing product development and launch projects using a phase‑gate methodology
Strong leadership skills with a track record in matrix organizations
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Degree from a technical university (business background is a plus)
Experience managing large project‑ and cross‑functional teams (20+ members) and R&D project budgets > €3 million OPEX
Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
Strong planning, problem‑solving, and analytical capabilities
