As a Field Service Associate (f/m/d) for Flow Cytometry Systems, you are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of high‑tech medical devices at customer sites. You independently diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensure customer satisfaction, and support sales colleagues by communicating service offerings. Your role includes maintaining accurate data in ERP systems, participating in regular technical training (including abroad), and contributing to a high‑quality service experience through strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
Base salary ranges between CHF 80,000 and CHF 100,000 gross per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Your Responsibilities
* Installation, maintenance, and repair of flow cytometers according to technical documentation
* Independent diagnosis and resolution of technical issues at customer sites
* In collaboration with your sales colleagues, you inform customers about our technical service offerings – such as service contracts
* Ensuring customer satisfaction based on the customer satisfaction score
* Maintaining data in the internal ERP system
* Regular participation in training sessions on technical innovations, including abroad
Preferred Requirements
* Completed technical education or equivalent qualification in medical technology or electrical engineering
* Initial field service and technical support experience in a high‑tech environment (medical technology, electronics)
* Proven experience and strong technical know‑how in IT and network technologies
* Excellent self‑organization, strong time management, and ability to prioritise tasks
* Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, team spirit, and a high level of commitment and personal responsibility
* Efficient, pragmatic, and solution‑oriented working style
* Should be based in German‑speaking Switzerland (Basel, Zürich or Bern)
* Swiss citizenship is required
* Fluency in German and English
* Valid European driver’s licence and high willingness to travel within the assigned territory and occasionally across Central Europe
