We run a mix of client-side, server-side, pre-rendered, and hybrid web apps. /lilibBackend: /b Node.js and TypeScript, serverless and microservices architecture in a cloud-based environment using bAWS /b (Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, S3, and more). /lilibMonitoring Observability: /b Mainly bDatadog /b plus logging/alerting best practices. /lilibAI Tooling: /b We actively adopt the latest developments in AI technology and expect you to embrace the innovation offered by large language models in your daily work. /lipLearn more about us and our engineering practices in our blog at /ppbAt a high level, you will: /b /pliLead the evolution of our Real Estate frontend architecture to support future requirements, defining and improving SLAs/SLOs, and anticipating ripple effects across systems together with other senior engineers and principals. /liliDesign and create shared frontend libraries, components, and tooling (e.g. design system, performance tooling) that are widely used by internal teams, focusing on pragmatic, reusable solutions and driving their adoption. /liliOrchestrate multi-system refactors and migrations (e.g. framework upgrades, cross-product harmonisation), breaking them down into digestible, plannable pieces and coordinating with engineers, product, and other stakeholders. /liliAct as a go-to person across teams and locations for frontend topics, influencing how we build web experiences across the Real Estate organisation. /liliMentor and coach other engineers through structured mentorship, pairing, and feedback, helping them grow their skills and closing skill gaps you observe in the organisation. /liliModel a healthy feedback culture, helping people navigate tough conversations and conflicts in a constructive, blameless way. /liliChallenge and improve team and cross-team processes, suggesting changes that improve focus, quality, and speed when needed. /liliYou’ll still write plenty of code, but your impact will be measured just as much by how you bmultiply /b the effectiveness of others as by your individual output. /lipbYour day-to-day /b /pliYou'll be part of a regular product team, splitting time about half and half between product delivery and staff responsibilities, depending on the current needs and priorities. /liliInnovate, design, implement, and deploy bfrontend-focused engineering solutions /b for our Real Estate products, from discovery to production. /liliOwn the end-to-end technical vision for key user journeys like Homegate and Immoscout24 and more, with a strong focus on bperformance, accessibility, UX quality, and reliability. /b /liliLead cross-team frontend initiatives (for example: shared design system improvements, cross-brand UI harmonisation, performance budgets, or observability patterns).
