Job Description
The Data Administrator Lead is responsible for building and operating a trusted, scalable, and governed data foundation across Solvias. This is the first hire in the Data & AI Office, combining hands-on delivery, data governance, and platform ownership.
The Data Administrator Lead is responsible for transforming data into a business asset, enabling decision-making, automation, and AI use cases across ERP, LIMS, Chromeleon, CRM, report automation, and future digital platforms. Aiming to enable the productivity of our teams and reimagine the workplace more efficiently.
This is a hands-on builder role (player-coach), expected to deliver the first data products within months, not just define frameworks. Success is measured by business adoption, data quality, and delivered outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Build and implement the enterprise data foundation, including data models, pipelines, and integrations across ERP, LIMS, and CRM withe our Technology partners
* Define and enforce data governance, including data ownership, policies, and compliance (GxP, ALCOA, ISO)
* Own and industrialize Master Data Management (MDM), ensuring a single source of truth across systems
* Design and operate the Azure Data Platform (Data Lake / Fabric), including ingestion, transformation, and storage
* Establish and monitor data quality KPIs, and drive remediation with business stakeholders
* Deliver initial data products (datasets, dashboards) with direct business usage
* Identify and implement RPA/data automation opportunities to reduce manual work and improve efficiency
* Own end-to-end data integration flows (ERP–LIMS–CRM–Portal) ensuring consistency and reliability
* Enable AI and advanced analytics use cases by providing clean, structured, and governed data
* Drive data ownership and behavioral change across Finance, Operations, QA, and Commercial teams
Qualifications
* Proven experience building data platforms or data functions from scratch
* Strong hands-on expertise in:
* Azure Data Platform (Data Lake, Fabric, Synapse or equivalent)
* SQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines
* API-based system integration
* Experience with Master Data Management and Data Governance frameworks
* Experience with RPA/AI tools (Power Automate, UiPath, or similar)
* Experience in regulated environments (GxP, Pharma, ISO) is a strong advantage
* Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence business teams and enforce data ownership
* Pragmatic, execution-focused mindset: value over perfection, speed with control
* Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment with high accountability
