We are looking immediately or by arrangement for a project buyer who ensures timely procurement of components for development projects.
Committed to sustainability, we shape electromobility with innovative drives, chargers, and mobility concepts. The Designwerk team, consisting of around 200 employees, successfully brings sustainable commercial vehicles and own products to the road.
Your Area of Responsibility
* Project-related purchasing responsibility from the concept phase to SOP
* Coordination with project management, development, and design regarding costs, specifications, and material requirements
* Selection, evaluation, and negotiation of suppliers for new components according to automotive standards (ISO / IATF)
* Hands-on mentality: You want not only to coordinate but also to implement and execute
* Ensuring budget, target cost, quality, and deadline compliance
* Management of project-related orders and framework agreements
* Identification and management of procurement risks and technical changes
* Active participation in interdisciplinary project teams
* Optimizing processes
Your Advantages
* Completed commercial or technical training; preferably studies (business administration, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or similar)
* 3–5 years of professional experience in project purchasing or technical purchasing, ideally in vehicle construction, mechanical engineering, or electromobility
* Automotive is not a foreign word to you
* Experience in purchasing electrical components, sensors, actuators, and cables is an advantage
* Very good understanding of technical drawings, parts lists, and manufacturing processes
* Experience in cross-functional project teams
* Confident handling of ERP systems as well as MS Office; knowledge of project management tools is an advantage
