Key Accountabilities
* Teaches English to students of the IB section
* Shares in the overall responsibility for the academic progress, personal development, health and safety, and well-being of students
* Creates a quality teaching environment conducive to learning, implementing the principles of positive discipline
* Acts as a coach by setting learning objectives that are challenging, inspiring and motivating, within the Collège philosophy
* Adapts teaching to the strengths and needs of all students, with high expectations for all learners
* Communicates effectively and regularly with parents about their children’s learning and achievements
* Plans for, assesses, and reports student learning and progress
PROFILE AND COMPETENCIES
* Master’s degree in English
* Qualified Teacher status
* Proven track record of excellence in teaching with at least three years’ experience, ideally in an international school environment
* English mother tongue and fluency in French a plus
* Clean criminal records
* Swiss / EU citizenship / valid Swiss work permit
