Overview
Join the Audi F1 Project to shape the future of motorsport. Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026 with three locations: the Sauber Group's F1 factory in Hinwil, Switzerland; Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg, Germany; and the Sauber Motorsport Technology Center in the UK. The Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations with support from the UK. We are opening applications for our inaugural Graduate Programme. In your graduate role, you will contribute directly to live projects and gain hands-on experience from day one. Continuous improvement is at the core of what we do, and you will be encouraged to adapt, innovate, and develop a growth mindset. Clear and effective communication, constructive feedback, and ownership of your work are essential as you collaborate across teams and contribute to the wider team\'s success.
Your mission
As a graduate member of the Vehicle Dynamics team, you’ll focus on analysing, developing, and optimising the performance of our Formula 1 cars. You’ll work closely with Aerodynamics, Simulation, Design Office, and Race Engineering teams to maximise car performance, reliability, and driver feedback. Your responsibilities include data analysis, vehicle setup optimisation, trackside support, and developing dynamic simulation models. This role offers the opportunity to work at the cutting edge of motorsport technology, contribute to race-winning strategies, and grow your expertise in high-performance vehicle dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop simulation tools and models to support performance analysis and setup optimisation.
* Provide real-time vehicle dynamics analysis and recommendations during race weekends and test sessions in the Operations Room.
* Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless integration of aerodynamic and mechanical systems for optimal car performance.
* Maintain model correlation by collecting and analysing track data to ensure high-fidelity simulations.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of vehicle performance by identifying trends and proposing innovative solutions.
Your profile
Required Qualifications
* MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
* Extensive understanding of vehicle dynamics.
