As a first-tier supplier to our renowned business partner, Roche Diagnostics in Rotkreuz, we are immediately seeking a motivated and dedicated Strategic Pricing Monitoring und Insights Specialist for a temporary 24-month assignment.
This role is critical for transforming our global pricing function by establishing robust Monitoring und Insights (MundI) capabilities. The specialist will serve as the hands‑on owner for executing the MundI roadmap, focusing on translating complex data into actionable commercial strategy.
The Perfect Candidate is a proactive, solution-oriented "builder" with established pricing expertise. This individual also has a track record of generating data-driven price reports and advanced analytics. Essential skills include proficiency in Excel modeling and the ability to convert complex data into clear, concise, and persuasive reports for executive and cross‑functional stakeholders.
Tasks und Responsibilities
* Lead New Report Creation: Proactively architect, pilot, and standardize a suite of new pricing reports, leveraging internal expertise and working with external vendors to build new capabilities with tangible commercial value
* Drive Process Optimization: Permanently optimize data extraction, reporting processes, and documentation to increase quality, efficiency, and sustainability standards across the pricing team
* Mid‑term Own the MundI Deliverable Pipeline: Take full end‑to‑end responsibility for the MundI product roadmap, ensuring timely and high‑quality delivery of all new reports, dashboards, and analytical tools for Global and Regional stakeholders
* Translate Insights to Strategy: Move beyond data delivery to actively develop and communicate data‑driven recommendations that directly support life cycle teams and improve pricing strategy outcomes
* Develop and Own Customer Area Price Fact Checks: Design, create, and proactively maintain resources that provide accurate, reliable, and up‑to‑date pricing information for specific customer segments, anticipating stakeholder needs
* China MundI Lead: Act as the primary analytic lead for high‑priority China‑specific workstreams, ensuring all outputs align with the Business strategy (External Environment Analysis, Price Trend Analysis)
* Governance and Compliance: Monitor and document pricing trends and methodologies according to Roche compliance standards, ensuring audit readiness and data integrity
Must‑Haves
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a relevant Science field
* Minimum 5+ years in a commercial, strategic pricing, or Net Revenue Management (NRM) role within the Diagnostic, MedTech or Pharmaceutical industry
* Proven expertise in creating data‑driven price reports and advanced analytics, including proficiency in Excel modeling
* Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, concise, and persuasive reports for executive and cross‑functional stakeholders (e.g., using Tableau or PowerBI)
* Solution‑Oriented and Proactive: A self‑starter who consistently surfaces solutions and possibilities rather than problems or constraints
* Thrives in ambiguity and independently drives tasks to conclusion
* Full Accountability and Ownership: Takes full, end‑to‑end ownership of deliverables, including necessary administrative steps (e.g., proper documentation and file management), and views the team’s success as their primary mandate ("I will find this out" mentality)
* Constructive and Collaborative Attitude: Views all tasks as essential to the delivery pipeline. Demonstrates the maturity to engage constructively with management and cross‑functional partners
* Builder Mindset: Enthusiastic about creating, testing, and refining new capabilities (MundI reports, dashboards, processes) within the opportunities and boundaries of a large corporation
* Fluent English, German is an advantage
