Position: Public Health Project Manager
We seek a highly organized, detail-oriented Public Health Project Manager with a strategic mindset and collaborative approach. The role involves overseeing multiple oral health projects from initiation to completion, ensuring objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met, while tracking and evaluating impact. The manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and partners to deliver projects aligned with organizational goals and to improve public health outcomes.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Develop and implement comprehensive project plans within defined timelines and budgets.
* Oversee project tasks, milestones, and outputs, ensuring progress and deliverables stay on track.
* Ensure quality standards and stakeholder expectations are met for all project deliverables.
* Support research, creation, writing, and design of project outputs.
* Manage requests for proposals, coordinate external service providers, and oversee review and editing processes.
* Support work of FDI Standing Committees and task teams, including budget preparation, policy development, and session coordination for the World Dental Congress.
* Organize workshops, online consultations, and webinars, managing logistics.
* Maintain communication with stakeholders, providing updates on progress, issues, and challenges.
* Develop and evaluate communication plans, ensuring dissemination of project outputs.
* Monitor and evaluate project impact, reporting on key metrics.
* Prepare project documentation, including reports, presentations, budgets, and evaluations. Document lessons learned and communicate outcomes.
* Assist in developing new project proposals.
Qualifications and Skills
* 3-5 years of project management experience.
* Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
* Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
* Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
* Adaptability to changing priorities.
* Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
* Team-oriented with a solution-focused approach.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Willingness to travel.
* Swiss residency or valid work permit in Switzerland.
