About The Role
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer Pressure Equipment to join our Process Plants team in the Chemtech division.
Key Responsibilities
* Creation of equipment specifications and layout drawings according to internal and international applicable standards, customer specifications and contractual agreements
* Independent processing of process equipment and machine orders with support of purchasing, project management other specialized departments
* Independent creation of purchasing specifications and purchase requisitions
* Checking detailed documents created by external suppliers or customers
* Supporting the project management in the implementation of technical specifications, regulations, quality and deadlines
* Project coordination and communication with external suppliers.
* Quality, cost and deadline monitoring and coordination of partial orders in direct cooperation with the suppliers
* Sales support
* Participation on continuous improvement tasks
To Succeed In This Role, You Will Need
* Technical educational, preferably mechanical engineering or a similar field
* A minimum of five years of experience in pressure vessels and rotating equipment design for applications in chemistry, pharma or oil and gas industry
* Your know-how in IT and MS Office applications is on a reasonable level
* You are a team player, customer oriented but also used to work self-reliant
* Communication and organizational skills build an excellent basis for this versatile role. Moreover, attention to detail is needed, and you should feel comfortable working in interdisciplinary teams and projects
* Fluency in English is essential. Good German skills are of advantage
