Senior Electrical Engineer for Drones | Full time | St. Gallen, Switzerland

Your responsibilities
Develop, design and enhance state-of-the-art PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) for our drones, including schematics, layout, and commissioning
Develop and implement advanced test equipment and procedures to ensure the highest quality and reliability of our drones
Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to production
Debug complex electrical systems, identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal performance
Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly and optimize overall drone performance
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, continuously exploring new technologies to drive innovation within the drone field
Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering their growth and development within the team, providing best practices and help to generate ideas
Your qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Extensive experience (10+ years) in design, development, and testing of PCBs for drones or similar applications
Proficiency in using ECAD software and tools for PCB design (Altium Designer, Eagle, OrCAD, KiCAD,...)
Programming skills in languages such as C/C++ would be a fantastic asset
Understanding of drone-related regulations and safety standards is nice to have
Excellent problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail
Strong communication, collaboration, and "leadership" skills
