Network Development & Partnerships Manager

Since the end of 2022, we have started developing a new MSC Air Cargo solution in response to customer demand and as a complementary service to its container shipping solutions.
To support the growth of MSC Air Cargo activities, we are looking for a highly motivated and hands-on Network Development & Partnerships Manager/Analyst who will be responsible to support the growth of MSC Air Cargo by playing a pivotal role in the Commercial Performance and Network Development department in the design, development and implementation of the MSC Air Cargo strategy. The objective will be to maximize financial return by optimizing fleet deployment aligned with customers demand and aircraft performance.
YOUR IMPACT
As a Network Development & Partnerships Manager, you will:
1. Analyze market demand and trends to identify potential new routes and evaluating the profitability and feasibility of proposed routes.
2. Collaborate with internal teams to develop business cases for new routes or network optimization.
3. Monitor Network financial performance and understand related market dynamics (eg market share development, competitor behavior, macro-economic trends).
4. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and geopolitical factors that could affect market demand.
5. Propose potential schedules adjustment in response to changing market conditions, seasonality, and other factors.
6. Support the Regional Commercial managers in the monthly budget and forecast process.
7. Identify, negotiate and establish strategic Interline/Strategic partnerships with other airlines.
8. Create and update of internal processes.
9. Support Business Intelligence team to create market data, competitors’ databases and more in general Network
10. Develop/Monitor tools.
11. Support Charter desk in pricing and feasibility check of short/long term charter opportunities.
YOUR BACKGROUND
12. Work experience in aviation/logistics preferably Airline Network Planning
13. Ability to communicate with different level of leadership
14. Strong presentation and verbal skills with the ability to deliver arguments clearly and confidently
15. Be able to work independently within a fast paced, target driven environment
16. Commercial orientation and liaising with customers
17. Dynamic, proactive, and comfortable working in an ever-changing environment of a startup business
18. Familiarity with the BI tools - a significant advantage
19. English mandatory, French and/or Italian a plus.
