As the IT Business Application Lead D365, you will take on a pivotal strategic role in the digital transformation of an industrial company with significant catch-up potential. You will not only be responsible for the operational stabilization and further development of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations landscape but will also actively shape the future IT and application strategy. This role is intentionally designed with long-term career development potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Holistic Ownership: End-to-end responsibility for D365 Finance & Operations as the organization's central ERP backbone.
* Digital Transformation: Bridging the digitalization gap by prioritizing tasks, defining a roadmap, and ensuring realistic implementation planning.
* Strategic Alignment: Translating corporate and departmental strategies into a robust ERP and application strategy.
* Process Excellence: Incremental standardization and professionalization of processes within Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Finance.
* Operations & Change Management: Ownership of system stability, continuous development, releases, and change requests.
* Vendor & Delivery Management: Leading and coordinating external implementation and support partners.
* Governance & Management: Managing the application roadmap, budget, risks, and quality standards.
* System Integration: Coordinating and evolving integrations with peripheral systems (e.g., BI, CRM).
* Stakeholder Management: Maintaining close collaboration with business stakeholders and senior management.
Qualifications
* Leadership Experience: Several years in a responsible ERP/Application leadership role (e.g., Application Lead, Application Owner, ERP Manager).
* D365 Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (or AX 2012 with FO transition experience).
* Industry Background: Proven track record in industrial or manufacturing environments.
* Strategic & Operational Balance: Ability to think strategically while executing operationally
* Adaptability: Experience handling legacy, partially unstructured IT and process landscapes.
* Communication: Strong stakeholder and expectation management skills up to the executive level.
* Languages: German (C1 or Native) and English (Full Professional Proficiency).
