 
        
        The head of publishing has overall responsibility for the publishing team and manages the team to optimize the performance in collaboration with other leads and the CEO.
 
Responsibilities:
 * Have overall team responsibility for production, marketing, community management and sales
 * Oversee the production process from first playable game versions until release
 * Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote and advertise our games
 * Make sure our games exploit their full sales potential by expanding all sales channels
 * Define responsibilities, show opportunities, evaluate performance and promote team members
 * Optimize the performance of the team, define new profiles and hire new team members
 * Convey the essential goals to the team, act as a motivator and ensure deadlines are reached
 * Establish a close collaboration with the head of development, head of art and the CEO
 
Requirements:
 * 3+ years of experience with leadership and 5+ years of experience with game publishing or similar
 * Hands-on experience with production, marketing, community management, sales and distribution
 * Strong project management, negotiation, sales and deal-maker skills
 * Great organization, moderation and social skills paired with strong assertiveness
 * A strong portfolio showcasing released products you have worked on
 * German and English communication and writing skills (B2 level or higher)
 
Preferences:
 * Worked on shipped products in the video game industry
 * Experience with multi-platform releases of shipped products (PC, PlayStation, Xbox)
 * Advanced experience with game testing, certification, age rating and similar
 * Expert-level knowledge of social media, press events, ad campaigns and sales optimization
 * Strong interest in our games, in particular Transport Fever 2 and 3
 * Degree in leadership, management, marketing, publishing or related field
