Today MSC is looking for a Buyer to join its Procurement Team.
YOUR IMPACT
As part of the Procurement Team, and reporting directly to the Procurement Manager, you will play a role in supporting the various entities of the MSC Group to design robust procurement processes driving automation, efficiency & cost management.
* Analyze market trends, cost drivers and global risks to build forward-looking strategies
* Handle end-to-end procurement activities, including supplier evaluations, site audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Build and maintain a high performing supplier base capable of meeting current and future business needs
* Develop and deploy Category Souring Strategies across the organization, ensuring alignment with the various MSC Entities
* Support and Lead Negotiations and Cost Management
* Drive Supplier performance through structured reviews focused on cost, quality and delivery.
* Promote continuous improvement through automation tools to elevate the procurement processes and operational efficiency.
* Ensure compliance and ethical standards in line with Company Values and Governance.
Required Qualifications
* Graduate in Engineering / Procurement / Chemistry / Mathematics / Business preferred
* Analytical approach with the ability to assess market trends and Supplier capabilities
* Excellent proficiency in English. Other languages a plus.
* Strong Interpersonal skills
* High degree of flexibility
* Natural negotiator with an ability to build a continuous pipeline of cost saving initiatives
* Problem solver
