Job DescriptionTo reinforce our EMEA sales team, we are looking for a dynamic and autonomous Account Manager Automotive in Germany. In this role you will have full responsibility for your accounts, driving product and solutions selling of our broad u-blox portfolio. Working at the forefront of technology, you will focus on the development of direct accounts Automotive.
You will be joining a motivated and knowledgeable Sales team who work closely together to achieve success and whose mission is to find the right solutions and create value for our customers. To be successful in this role, you should be passionate about solving customer challenges. You also bring first sales experience in electronic industries and focus on the Automotive market is a plus. You thrive in learning about new technologies like ADAS. The role is home-based anywhere in Germany. You will report directly to the Head of Key Accounts Automotive EMEA.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Define & implement the sales strategy for assigned accounts
2. Work collaboratively across teams - including Sales Operations, Engineering, Product Management, Marketing as well as global sales functions (Application Marketing, Service sales)
3. Strong focus on developing assigned accounts
4. Drive the sales process through the entire cycle: Managing accounts in all aspectsMaking technical and commercial proposals selling products and solutionsNegotiating sales contractsClosing orders
5. Provide organization with feedback on: Current and future requirements from the marketCustomer satisfaction
6. Support MarCom activities like press releases, trade fairs
Your Skills and Experience:
7. University degree in engineering or equivalent experience
8. First experience in sales of electronic products preferably in the Automotive industry
9. Technical knowledge in one of the following technologies would be an asset: positioning and/or Bluetooth / WiFi
10. Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions
11. Excellent customer relationship manner on all hierarchical levels and the ability to handle difficult situations with diligence
12. Proven ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams
13. Self-motivated and disciplined
14. Travel required: 30% of work schedule mainly to customers in the assigned territory or to the HQ in Switzerland
15. Native German speaker and excellent English skills
16. Up to 30 vacation days
