This is an initial 12‑month contract starting December 2025, with a strong likelihood to extend to a long‑term engagement of up to five years, based on the project road maps.
Role Overview
You will join an international team responsible for championing innovation and adoption of next‑generation technology in the Central Bank, taking stewardship of its shared‑source initiative. The role focuses on architecture, compliance and governance of the project.
Responsibilities
 * Architect and implement a secure, scalable, and efficient shared‑source environment.
 * Set up and manage version control systems (e.g., GitLab or GitHub Enterprise).
 * Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient, high‑quality code delivery.
 * Integrate software security best practices, including access control, vulnerability scanning, and dependency management.
 * Develop an operational playbook for the shared‑source program, defining contribution guidelines, code reviews, versioning, and release management.
 * Implement technical controls to protect intellectual property and align with contribution models (e.g., CLAs).
 * Onboard and support contributors, fostering active participation and high‑quality contributions.
 * Collaborate with legal teams to translate licensing and IP requirements into practical technical processes.
 * Ensure the shared‑source program remains compliant while maintaining a developer‑friendly environment.
Qualifications
 * Proven experience managing open‑source or shared‑source projects and implementations.
 * Experience as an Open Source or Community Manager.
 * Knowledge of code‑hosting platforms such as GitLab or GitHub Enterprise.
 * Strong background in DevOps and CI/CD automation.
 * Solid understanding of software security best practices, including access control, vulnerability scanning, and dependency management.
 * Knowledge of software licensing, contribution models (e.g., CLAs), and intellectual property considerations.
 * Familiarity with an Open Source Business Office (OSPO).
 * Fluency in English.
