For our Laboratory Weighing (LabTec) division, the world's leading manufacturer of laboratory balances, we are looking for a passionate Test Manager and Team Lead (all genders) at our Greifensee location, METTLER TOLEDO's global headquarters, to join our R&D organization. This role offers an 80% – 100% employment opportunity.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Developing and implementing testing strategies and plans to ensure software quality and reliability.
2. Leading and mentoring the testing team, providing guidance to achieve project goals.
3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and resources.
4. Monitoring and reporting testing progress, ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality standards.
5. Managing defect tracking and resolution processes, ensuring issues are addressed promptly.
6. Staying updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
7. Representing the Software Testing Team within the extended R&D Leadership team.
What You Need to Succeed
The following requirements are essential for this role:
* A higher degree in computer science, electrical engineering (university/ETH, FH), or comparable.
* At least three years of professional leadership experience, preferably in an industrial high-tech or product development environment.
* A strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
* Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
* Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is an advantage. Motivation to work in an international environment is essential.
