The Business Analyst for the BORA project is responsible for facilitating the definition, documentation, and validation of business requirements across all relevant functional areas. The role ensures that business needs, process expectations, and capability gaps are clearly articulated and accurately captured within the project’s business requirements document and framework. The role directly contributes to the preparation of a robust Request for Proposal (RFP) and ensures strong alignment with pre-defined business capabilities. The position requires close collaboration with Business Process Experts (BPEs), the CS Transformation lead, functional stakeholders, and SAP experts to document requirements and support the overall ERP vendor selection process.
Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering & Documentation
* Conduct interviews with business stakeholders across business units, based on the framework and direction provided to gather requirements. Ensure requirements are clear, complete, and documented in a structured business requirements document
* Collaborate with Business Process Experts and to understand existing business processes and capabilities and translate those into professional business requirement document
* Prepare acceptance criteria and test scenarios, aligned with the I&D Business Analysis methodology
* Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including requirement document, user manual/working instructions and other relevant material
* Support version control, consolidation, and tracking of requirements across functional streams
* Collaborate with solution architects and designers to elicit, document and validate business requirements
* Escalate any areas where a risk is identified in documenting/validating business requirements or where a timeline risk is identified
* Participate in workshops and discussions to assess how business requirements map to ERP standard capabilities
* Document decisions, deviations, and dependencies related to non-standard requirements
* Include outcome of gap analysis workshops into business requirements document.
RFP Support Activities
* Contribute to the preparation and finalization of the RFP by ensuring the outputs of the DDA workshops are properly reflected in the relevant requirement sections
* Support the ERP Business Analyst in analyzing and comparing vendor responses during the SI selection process
* Organize RFP responses review and sign off sessions to the business requirements, with the different functional business teams
* Participate in vendor demonstrations, document evaluation outcomes, and consolidate inputs from evaluators
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
* Minimum 5-10 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in ERP or SAP-related initiatives
* Experience with process mapping tools such as Visio, Draw.io, ARIS, or equivalent
* Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA concepts or other Tier-1 ERP platforms
* Experience with Order to Cash processes
* Understanding of project methodologies (Waterfall, Agile)
* Strong analytical and documentation skills with attention to detail
* Proactive attitude and mindset
* Ability to translate complex business needs into structured, clear, and concise requirements
* Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities
* Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate closely with senior analysts and experts
* Fluency in English is mandatory (written and spoken)
