About the Role
In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for ensuring that all Health, Safety, and Environmental activities are managed in full compliance with applicable laws and internal regulations. Your role will involve driving the continuous improvement of our HSE practices, helping to refine and evolve our systems to meet growing demands.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and objectives aligned with laws and company requirements.
* Monitor the effective implementation of HSE requirements across the organization.
* Conduct thorough risk assessments for all company activities to ensure a safe working environment.
* Identify HSE training needs, develop training programs, and deliver training sessions to enhance employee awareness.
* Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement comprehensive HSE plans and procedures throughout project lifecycles.
* Verify the suitability of HSE personnel assigned to projects based on education, training, and experience.
* Provide technical support to project and site HSE teams to ensure seamless execution.
* Plan and conduct regular HSE audits and inspections, both internally and with subcontractors.
* Lead accident/incident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
* Analyze safety and environmental statistics to identify trends and suggest improvement plans.
* Prepare and deliver presentations on HSE topics to various stakeholders.
* Design and promote safety and environmental campaigns to enhance organizational culture and awareness.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 8+ years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
* Familiarity with risk management, problem-solving, and troubleshooting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with international partners.
* Strong team player with flexibility and empathy.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Lead Auditor ISO 14001 / 45001 certification.
* NEBOSH qualification (desired).
Language Skills:
* Fluent written and spoken English.
* Italian language proficiency at C1 level.
Education:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Environmental, Energy, Civil, etc.).
