Join to apply for the Graduate Risk Analyst role at IMC Trading. IMC provides liquidity and trades on cryptocurrency exchanges and DeFi protocols through its overseas affiliates. We are seeking a Graduate Risk Analyst (specialized in digital assets) to join our expanding trading operations. This role is well-suited for a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and manage and develop our digital risk management framework, with opportunities for growth and ownership in refining risk processes.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
As a Graduate Risk Analyst at IMC, you will:
* Identify and manage market, credit and operational risks in IMC’s existing and new activities in digital asset markets.
* Maintain and develop risk management tools to monitor and mitigate market and credit risk exposures.
* Contribute to operational risk management by designing, testing, and implementing key controls to strengthen the risk framework.
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to manage and optimize these risks.
* Analyze digital assets market developments and help build, revise, and enhance risk methodologies and processes for IMC’s activities in these markets.
* Perform risk control self-assessments by analyzing potential impact and likelihood of risk events.
* Collaborate closely with the Trading, Finance and Compliance teams on a daily basis.
* Undertake a comprehensive onboarding program, including personalized training opportunities and mentorship.

WHAT DO WE LOOK FOR?
* Strong academic background in a quantitative field (such as Statistics, Physics or Financial Mathematics).
* A genuine interest and understanding of the digital asset market structure (e.g., Custodians, Exchanges, DeFi).

* Experience with a programming language (such as Python, MATLAB, or R).
* Recent graduates with up to two years of relevant work experience, preferably with a demonstrable interest in digital assets and financial markets.
* Willingness to work primarily on-site at our Zug office. Limited remote work opportunities.
