Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Director Product Management to lead our global product management function.
* This role involves overseeing the entire product portfolio, balancing investments across innovation, growth, and maintenance.
* You will make data-driven decisions on product lifecycle management, including launches, iterations, and sunsets.
* The successful candidate will also lead initiatives to simplify the portfolio and position products for organic growth and margin expansion.
Main Responsibilities:
* Portfolio Management: Oversee the product portfolio, balance investments, and make strategic decisions.
* Metrics and Performance Management: Define and monitor key product metrics, ensure continuous learning, and inform strategic adjustments.
* Governance and Process Optimization: Establish frameworks for prioritization, decision-making, and performance measurement, refine product development processes, and implement the 80/20 initiative.
* Strategic Leadership: Define and drive the product strategy in alignment with segment and company objectives, ensure product initiatives support long-term business goals.
* Market and Competitive Positioning: Develop knowledge of market trends, identify emerging opportunities and threats, and maintain a close watch on regulatory changes.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other leaders, align cross-functional teams on product strategy, priorities, and timelines, and participate in enterprise leadership meetings.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical/manufacturing engineering or related field; Master's degree and/or MBA preferred.
* A minimum of 15 years of experience in the water industry or energy sector, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or management position.
* Global experience in large organizations, proven track record of performance, and proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ERP systems.
* Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, ability to work effectively with customers, business partners, vendors, staff, and management.
