Our Talent team is expanding with the growth of On, and we are looking for an enthusiastic person to join us as a Lead, Growth Instructional Designer. We seek someone passionate about development who has successfully scaled and delivered innovative learning experiences.
This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality learning programs that enhance team skills, capabilities, and performance. The position involves collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) internally and externally to create engaging, effective, and learner-centric solutions.
Your Mission
Design and develop engaging training programs, courses, materials, including eLearning modules, instructor-led training, job aids, and assessments.
Create multimedia-rich learning content using simulations and instructional techniques to improve retention.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify development needs and performance gaps.
Conduct needs assessments and skill gap analyses to ensure relevance and alignment with business goals.
Develop comprehensive programs for essential skills and other key areas.
Manage Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other technologies for training delivery and tracking.
Stay updated on emerging learning technologies and trends to keep training relevant and innovative.
Develop facilitation guides, presentations, and handouts for in-person or virtual ILT sessions.
Facilitate live training sessions or webinars, ensuring engaging learning experiences.
Ensure facilitators are well-prepared with necessary materials and support.
Implement evaluation strategies to assess training effectiveness and use data to improve programs.
Partner with Talent BPs and SMEs to align initiatives with business objectives.
Manage project timelines, expectations, and deliverables effectively.
Your Story
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, HR, or related; Master’s or certifications (e.g., CPTD, ATD) are a plus.
7-9 years of experience in instructional design or L&D.
Experience in designing eLearning, instructor-led, and blended programs.
Familiarity with LMS and engaging diverse audiences across regions with cultural awareness.
Strong project management, stakeholder management, results-driven, and self-motivated.
Passionate about people, growth, and delivering exceptional learning experiences.
Creative problem solver, agile, resourceful, and collaborative.
