Key Account Manager (KAM) Mass Market This role is responsible for managing and developing strategic relationships with key retail partners to drive sales growth and enhance brand presence in the consumer health sector, specifically in the oral care business. The role requires a deep understanding of the mass market landscape, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to execute sales strategies that align with Haleon’s business objectives.
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners to maximize sales opportunities and achieve sales targets.
Control all costs in P+L relating to specific activity in accounts, managing gross to net according to the plan.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure strategy definition, plan alignment, and execution of sales strategies.
Analyze market trends, new channel opportunities, customer needs, and competitive activities to identify growth opportunities and develop action plans.
Negotiate terms and conditions with retail partners to optimize product placement, pricing, and promotions.
Monitor and report on key sales KPIs, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
Lead internal and external preparation and execution of annual negotiations for assigned customers.
Manage customer forecast (value and volume).
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or in a similar sales role within the consumer health or FMCG industry.
Strong understanding of the mass market retail environment and consumer health products; pharmacy background also considered.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical skills to gain insights on data and market trends.
Ability to travel as required to meet with retail partners and attend industry events.
Languages: English, German. French (optional).
