Sous ChefJob DescriptionWe are looking for a passionate Sous Chef to join the culinary team at the Hotel. In this full-time role, your main missions will include assisting the Chef in the management and supervision of the kitchen, the preparation of the necessary mise en place, the management of a team of two cooks, as well as maintaining high standards of quality and service. You will also be fully in charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Chef. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to be involved in the creation of menus and the search for culinary suppliers.Profile:- Experience in the creation of creative and innovative dishes, with attention to detail and neat presentation.- Kitchen management: Ability to manage service autonomously, supervise a team, and manage ingredient supply.- Hygiene and food safety: In-depth knowledge of sanitary standards and ability to maintain a clean and compliant workspace.- Flexibility and stress management: Ease of working in a mountain environment, and aptitude for managing unforeseen events with composure.- Complementary skills including a degree in culinary arts and mastery of local and international cuisines will be an asset.Start date: beginning of June.Our establishment, which is expanding, is located in the village of Jaun, 20 minutes from Bulle.
