Technology & Innovation Manager (Industrial Connectivity & Digitalization)
Our long-standing client is a well-established international technology company recognized for its strong engineering culture, commitment to innovation, and long-term vision. To support the continued development of its digitalization strategy and emerging technologies roadmap, we are looking for a Technology & Innovation Manager to join a highly specialized team operating in an international environment.
Your Profile
- Degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience, ideally within industrial automation, process industries, or technology management
- Solid understanding of industrial communication technologies, fieldbus systems, and field device integration
- Knowledge of process plant and process control system lifecycles, including planning, commissioning, and maintenance activities
- Strong interest in emerging technologies and digital transformation initiatives within industrial environments
- Ability to evaluate technological developments and translate them into strategic recommendations and practical implementation concepts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical experts, business stakeholders, and international teams
- Experience facilitating interdisciplinary working groups or technical workshops
- Curious, analytical, and motivated to continuously deepen your technical expertise
- Fluent German and English
- Willingness to travel internationally on an occasional basis (approximately 20%)
Your Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess emerging technologies and industry trends to support strategic decision-making
- Develop technology roadmaps, recommendations, and implementation guidelines related to industrial digitalization and connectivity
- Act as a technology expert for digitalization and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) initiatives within process industry environment
- Provide technical guidance and consulting to internal stakeholders, development teams, and business unit
- Support product development and commercial activities through subject matter expertise and technical knowledge transfer
- Deliver training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities related to relevant technologies and standards
- Facilitate cross-functional working groups to align technical standards, specifications, and best practice
- Contribute to the development and harmonization of internal guidelines and technology framework
- Represent the company within international technical committees, industry associations, and standardization organization
