In this role, the incumbent will manage electrical and electro-mechanical components. This will entail the following task areas:
- Developing medium, long-term category and sourcing strategy in collaboration with Global Procurement Teams, New Product Development and Operations Team
- Aligning category and sourcing strategy, tactics and execution plan with relevant stakeholders
- Conducting Supplier Market Analysis, Price Analysis, Should-cost-analysis, identifying new opportunities (Project Management)
- Scouting, sourcing incl. RFPs and RFQs, and consolidation of suppliers worldwide (Supplier Relationship Management)
- Evaluation of suppliers in cooperation with Quality
- Conducting price negotiations, supplier agreements and executing contract management
- Optimizing procurement with regards to total cost of ownership, risk minimization, quality assurance, net working capital
- Cooperating with relevant stakeholders in order to drive the overall strategy
- Implementing, supporting, and ensuring the use of relevant strategic sourcing processes across the group
- Contributing to continuous improvement of value and quality

In order to be considered for the role, the selected candidate must have:
- Commercial or technical education including further education in related fields (Industrial Engineering / Business Administration / Supply Chain or similar)
- 5-10 years of work experience in category management/strategic or technical purchasing in manufacturing or assembly companies for electric and electro-mechanical components
- Experience in Appliances (e.g. professional kitchen appliances) is a plus
- Strong Communication in English (a must), German is a strong plus
- Experience working in Matrix organizations
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Proficient with common ERP Systems e.g. SAP
- Ability and openness to travel internationally
