Responsibilities
* Review and implement customer requirements, coordinate internal and external technical reviews, manage deadlines and cost‑effective development of actuator mechanisms including motors, gearboxes and associated components for space customers.
* Act as key contact between R&D, testing, quality, production, process engineering and purchasing departments while representing customers internally.
* Coordinate communication between all parties involved in the projects, drawing on experience and knowledge of the space industry.
* Work primarily on manned and unmanned spacecraft projects for science missions and commercial space applications.
Qualifications
* At least 5 years of experience in projects (preferably in the aerospace industry) after completing a university degree (preferably in mechanical, electrical, system, industrial or materials & process engineering) or a technical higher education (HF or equivalent) after a completed vocational apprenticeship.
* Experience with precision products and manufacturing processes for ultra‑high reliability applications.
* Knowledge of aerospace‑standard manufacturing processes.
* Excellent command of spoken and written English; good working knowledge of German preferred.
* Team player with good communication skills, solution‑oriented, capable of planning projects and bringing them to successful conclusion.
* Prior experience of electrical actuators.
* Willingness to travel worldwide (max. 5%).
