Job Title: Supply Chain Operations Manager
Overview:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing offshoring projects in collaboration with the strategic purchasing department. This role involves monitoring the implementation of offshoring projects to achieve objectives and ensuring timely project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and implement offshoring projects in collaboration with the strategic purchasing department;
* Monitor the implementation of offshoring projects to ensure achievement of objectives and timely completion;
* Analyze and evaluate critical supply chains;
* Develop new suppliers within the global sourcing strategy (BCC Best Cost Country Sourcing);
* Process various actions taken due to audit deviations;
* Serve as the key contact person for supplier selection, validation, and evaluation;
* BUILD STRATEGIC SUPPLIERS AND ENSURE DELIVERY CAPABILITY IN TERMS OF QUALITY AND TIME;
* Analyze errors and initiate corrective actions.
Requirements:
To be successful in this position, you will need a background in mechanical engineering, aeronautics and aerospace, business engineering in machine building, or a similar qualification. You should have several years of professional experience as a project manager and knowledge of auditing (audit training VDA 6.3). Audit knowledge of APQP and its components (FMEA, MSA, PAPP, ...) is also required. Additionally, you should have excellent knowledge of MS Office and a perfect command of the English language, as well as a good knowledge of German and/or French.
